Route 554

Issaquah, Sammamish, Eastgate, Mercer Island and Seattle riders, we know you depend on the 554 to get you from home to work, school and activities across the region.

Questionmark icon Bus restructure impacts

Your bus travel time is likely to increase due to adjustments in bus routing and use of surface streets. Traveling westbound, buses will exit I-90 at Rainier, then travel north on Rainier Avenue South to Dearborn Street, before accessing Downtown Seattle via the same streets as today. When returning to the Eastside, the last stop downtown will be moved to 2nd Avenue Extension South and South Jackson Street from 5th Avenue South and South Jackson Street.

Because travel times will increase modestly, expect to wait an extra few minutes for your bus throughout the day on weekdays, as buses will come slightly less frequently. For each route, exact stop times and schedule will be available in August 2018 for the September 22, 2018 service change.
